LIVING EVIDENCE

CARI Guidelines mission is to improve the quality of care and outcomes for patients with kidney disease in Australia & New Zealand by facilitating the development and implementation of trustworthy clinical practice guidelines based on the best available evidence and effectiveness.

CARI Guidelines is a member of the Living Evidence Consortium. CARI guidelines is currently developing a frontier project on management of cardiovascular disease in chronic kidney disease. This project will be transforming guidelines in a living process for the delivering evidence to the clinic to support greater use of effective therapies. CARI guidelines will partner with Cochrane Kidney Transplant, and the Australian Living Evidence Consortium in this project. This project is supported by BEAT-CKD, the Australian Government National Strategic Action Plan – Public and Chronic Disease Program – Kidney Disease, through Flinders University.
